You can deposit any U.S. check payable to you. Funds under $225 are generally available:
- Same day if deposited before 3:30pm ET on a business day
- Next day if deposited after 3:30pm ET on a business day
Funds over $225 will generally be available by the following business day. Keep your check for 45 days and shred it after. Holds may apply in some cases.

Mobile Banking FAQs
Mobile banking lets you bank from your phone or tablet anytime, anywhere. You can view your balance, view transactions, deposit checks, pay bills, and transfer funds—all with just a few taps.
You can easily deposit a check by snapping a photo with your phone. Tap “Deposit a Check,” take a picture of the front and back, and then funds will be added to your account. Before you get started, make sure to sign the endorsement line and check that it’s for mobile deposit. You can view the mobile deposit agreement here.
If you’re enrolled in online banking, you don’t have to sign up for mobile banking. But, if you want to use mobile banking, you’ll have to register for online banking first.
If you’re signed up for online banking, you can enroll in mobile banking through our mobile app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. Once you’ve downloaded the app, you’ll tap “Register a New Account” and follow the steps to complete your enrollment. Not signed up for online banking? Get started here.
