We can’t guarantee arrival time, but same-day processing is typical for wires made between 8:00am and 3:00pm ET on business days.

Visit your nearest branch or fill out the Outgoing Domestic Wire Transfer Request Form and call 800.533.2062, option 4 (subject to dollar limits).1

You’ll need the following information for wires coming to your Georgia’s Own account3:
Receiving institution’s information:
Georgia’s Own Credit Union
ABA # 261071438
Beneficiary information:
- Account holder first and last name or account holder business name
- Account holder address on file
- Specific account number of deposit
Incoming international wire
Have the sender complete this form to receive international wires.4
Wire Transfers FAQs
Wire transfer fees vary. For domestic wire transfers, the fee is $15.00 per wire for incoming wires and $25.00 per wire for outgoing wires. For international wire transfers, the fee is $50.00 per incoming wire and $50.00 per wire for outgoing wires (but additional pass-through fees may apply). Returned wire fees are $20.00 per wire.

Yes, wires can be cancelled. For domestic wires, recipients can cancel the wire if it’s in the “Verify Wires” queue. Domestic wires that are verified/approved for release or that may have been rejected under the suspicion of fraud must be cancelled by the wires department. All international wires must be cancelled by the wires department by calling 800.533.2062.

Please note: To ensure correct and timely delivery, it is necessary to use a valid and complete Georgia’s Own Credit Union account number for crediting of wire proceeds and include an accurate recipient name and address. Please refrain from using member number or member number and account trailer combinations as these entries are not valid account numbers. Failure to supply a complete and valid data entry may result in the delay or return of your incoming wire transaction.
