When you turn 18 (and until you’re 22), you can contact us and have your Student Access Savings converted to a primary savings account. On your 23rd birthday, your Student Access Savings will automatically convert to a primary savings account.

Yes, your Georgia’s Own savings, checking, money market, and certificate of deposit accounts are insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA. For additional information, visit the NCUA share insurance estimator.
